PSU takes a hit in the power rankings

The egg that PSU laid in East Lansing last night showed up in the power rankings this morning. The Lions dropped two spots from eighth place to tenth. Effectively, Iowa, Michigan, and PSU are in a tie for eighth with only thousandths of points separating the three. # Team Pace Off Def Pwr Rank 1 [...]

BTN Report on PSU at MSU

BTN Game Wrap-Up PSU at MSU

Four Factor Analysis Tool (PSU at MSU)

Not too many surprises here. As usual, Penn State’s defensive efficiency stands out as being far worse that their opponents. Penn State upset MSU two weeks ago in Happy Valley so there’s hope for the Nittany Lions. Illinois has continued to have a strong [...]

Purdue climbs another spot in the power rankings

This week they slip past Michigan State into the third spot and number 22 nationally. Matt Painter has a stranglehold lock on the Big Ten coach of the year award and is making a huge bid for that honor nationally. Almost as amazingly, Illinois continues to maintain a strong power ranking climbing six spots nationally [...]

How easily are you offended?

It appears there are some quite sensitive people in Bloomington Indiana. I first read this story in this Indy Star column: And to think, while a corrupt coach was leading IU onto the floor to play Wisconsin, Assembly Hall security had nothing better to do than force a fan to take off a shirt reading [...]
