RPI and Pomeroy Rankings

Both headed south after the loss. Our RPI plunged to 138 while the Pomeroy Ranking, which takes the score into account, dropped only a few points to 64.

RPI and Pomeroy Rankings (01/07/08)

PSU continued to move up in both the RPI and Pomeroy Rankings. The two rankings also continued the convergence that they started post Orlando. Ken Pomeroy now has Penn State at 61st while the RPI rankings puts them at 100.

Here’s our rankings at the end of the non conference portion of our schedule. RPI and Pomeroy Rankings As might be expected, our RPI went up as a result of the win over Lehigh but our Pomeroy Rating went down because of all the points that we allowed the Mountain Hawks to score.
